I begged my parents for a long time and finally bought a kit as a 2-year christmas and birthday present. And I have to admit, it was well worth the money. There are several hobby humanoid robots out there and for me, I wanted a robot that was highly modifiable and it was RoboNova. I built the robot in like 14 hours and it was really fun.
